You can’t talk about football stadiums in Texas without talking about Odessa’s Ratliff Stadium. Between Permian and Odessa High School, there’s a ton of talent to go around. The 2004 Friday Night Lights used the stadium and its 19,302 capacity for its backdrop.

Mesquite Memorial Stadium is home to the 5 Mesquite area high schools. It opened in 1977 and continues to hold its own as one of the largest in the state.
